Annual Report 2010-11

The executive committee takes pleasure in presenting the annual progress report of the society named IPTA Center For Cultural Resources And Training, for the year 2010-2011. The society has convened in meeting of the executive committee during the financial years that it has been succesful.

The committee also noted the initiatives taken to encourage the theatre activities amongst the students by organizing theatre workshops and Interschool Drama Competition and organizing of 17th National Theatre Festival at Raigarh .

The society acknowledges with gratitude to all those who have supported the society through contribution, donation and by different means directly or indirectly. The executive committee of the society also expresses appreciation of the encouragement and moral support from donors, member of the society, honorary persons and staffs associated with society along with community with whom it is working.

The Activities during the year 2010-11 are as follows:

1. Theatre workshop For Children

2. Theatre Workshop for Youth

    From 15th June 2010 to 18th July 2011

3. Production in September 2010

    Play “ Mujhe Kahan Le Aaye Columbus”

    Directed by Ajay Athaley

    Showcased in Chakradhar Samaroh,Raigarh

4. Show in October 2010 At Rangmandir, Raipur

    Play “Holi”

    Playright: Mahesh Elkunchwar

    Directed by Ajay Athaley

    In 'Safar Muktakash' a festival organized by Department Of Culture, Govt. Of Chattisgarh

5. Recording of a play in October 2010

    Play was recorded by Doordarshan and Broadcasted in December 2010.

6. DramaCompetition 2011

    Inter School Drama Competition was organized.

    9 schools participated.

7. 17th National Theatre Festival 2011

    National Theatre Festival was organized in January 2011.

    Teams Participated: Chitrotpala Samiti Raipur, Nirman Kala Manch Patna,

    Indrawati Natya Samiti Sidhi, Nat Bundele Bhopal and Renaissance Repertory Gaya.

Apart from the above mentioned activities, Vishwa Rangmanch Diwas was celebrated on 27th March 2011 and to commemorate the Shahid Diwas a show was organized at Shahid chowk on 23rd March 2011.
