IPTA Raigarh: IPTA Chhattisgarh concludes its 3rd state convention IPTA Chhattisgarh concludes its 3rd state convention ====================================================NuLLeD by x-MoBiLe T.E.A.M================= ==== IPTA on 27 December, 2008 08:02:00 Dongargarh: Third State Convention showcased six plays and numerous songs as a part of its three day celebrations, from 20th to 22nd December, to mark the completion of 25 years of IPTA Dongargarh and two succesful terms of the executive council of the state branch. A small discussion was also organised dealing with 'Media and Culture' followed by the techniques by which theatre groups like IPTA can attract more members and participation. A long dialogue was also held to discuss the ideological training in the organisation. In the fresh elections, Shri Madukar Gorakh was chosen as the new president of the IPTA Chhattisgarh. However, Shri Rajesh Shrivastava was retained as the General Secretary and Shri Manimay Mukherjee also remained the Treasurar of the organisation. Shri Ranbir Sing participated in the event as the Chief guest, Shri Prabhakar Choubey and Shri Ramakant Saxena among the other dignified guests. During these three days, IPTA Raigarh staged two plays - Gadha ke Baraat, which was directed by Niraj Vahal and Gandhi Chowk, which wa directed by Ajay Athaley. IPTA Patna also staged a play - "Tum Hume Kahan Le Aaye Columbus", which was directed by Tanveer Akhtar. IPTA Bhilai staged a play - Rai, which was a group direction. IPTA Dongargarh also staged a play, called "Platform Number Char" which was directed by Radhshyam Tarane. An experimental play was also staged by IPTA BALCO. A film, 'Mashale lekar Chalna', made on IPTA Dongargarh's 25 years was also screened. The next convention has been scheduled to be held at Pendra.
